About Us
The Wesleyan Business Review was founded in 2019 by Joshua Ledford ‘20 and Pauline Jaffe ‘20 to serve as a platform for economic, business, entrepreneurship, and financial engagement among the Wesleyan Community. Since its original inception, WBR has grown to become a respected publication that reaches outside of our campus borders. Kye Yu ‘24 led the club through a transition into a full fledged media house in 2023. Operations expanded to include a Podcast, full social media offering, as well as newsletter.
The publication is entirely student-run; thank you to all of our alumni who wrote and serviced our community. In partnership with our globally acclaimed University that’s offered its extensive resources, WBR aims to increase and elevate economic discourse beyond just our campus by illustrating the wide range of views and experiences encompassed by Wesleyan’s diverse student body. We hope to serve as a medium in which students can publish their work, findings, and fact-based opinions on various topics surrounding the world of business, finance, and the broader economy.
